Casuarina Beach House – Blackbutt Floor & Stair Restoration
Gold Coast Floor Sanding has completed timber floor restoration projects throughout the Tweed Coast, including this extensive Blackbutt restoration at a beach house in Casuarina.
The project included two internal Blackbutt staircases, restoration of the main middle-level timber flooring and repairs to areas affected by pet urine. Damaged boards were carefully removed and replaced before the floors were professionally sanded and refinished to achieve a consistent finish throughout the home.
A separate pool-house cabana was also restored. Existing joints and gaps were treated with a suitable flexible Sika joint sealant where required, with careful attention given to the requirements of the outdoor area and slip-resistance performance.
The timber was finished using Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, selected to enhance the natural character of the Blackbutt while providing a durable, repairable and natural-looking finish.
