Gold Coast Floor Sanding recently completed the professional sanding and refinishing of a large commercial timber floor in Nerang on the Gold Coast.
Large timber floor areas require careful planning, consistent sanding and preparation to achieve an even finish across the entire surface. Despite the scale of this project, the floor received the same attention to detail and finishing standards we apply to our residential work.
The existing timber floor was professionally sanded and prepared before being refinished with a premium commercial-grade 2K water-based coating system, producing a durable, low-sheen finish suitable for the demands of a high-use environment.

COMMERCIAL FLOOR RESTORATION – PROJECT DETAILS
This large Nerang timber floor required a complete sanding and refinishing process to restore the appearance of the existing flooring and provide a durable surface suitable for ongoing commercial use.
The size of the floor made consistency particularly important. The entire area was progressively sanded and carefully prepared to achieve an even surface before the finishing system was applied.
A premium 2K water-based coating system was selected to provide durability while maintaining a natural, low-sheen appearance across the large timber floor.
